How to Make Video into Background?
Here you will get step-by-step instructions on how to make your video go smoothly into the background of a certain color. For example, it could be useful at the end of your movie when you want video to go into black screen. Suppose, you have imported all of the necessary files into AVS Video Editor, placed them at the Timeline and added all of the desirable transitions and video effects.
Free download and install this Video Editor, double click the installer to install it to your computer with the help of the installation wizard.
Step 1. Add Draw Rectangle video effect
To start adding any video effect you should click the Video Effects button in the Edit Movie menu pane.
Find the Draw Rectangle video effect icon in the Media Library and click to highlight it. It is located in the Draw video effects group.
To add the selected video effect to the Timeline please use drag-and-drop method: drag the desired track icon from the Media Library to the Timeline. You can also click the Add To Timeline button.

Step 2. Set the boundaries and fade-in and fade-out limits on the Timeline
First we should set the video effect boundaries. In our example we want our video to start going into the background from the 12th second till the end. So, the boundaries should be set as shown:

After you choose the effect you want to apply, the program automatically sets the fade-in and fade-out boundaries. You should change them by clicking the left mouse button and dragging the boundaries inwards or outwards like this:

Step 3. Choose the effect parameters
Put the Timeline cursor at the position of the effect selection as shown:

Click the Show/Hide Preview button to open the Main Preview window.

Step 4. Preview the result using the Main Preview window
The Main Preview is intended for previewing the whole project with audio and all of the effects and changes you made. This is exactly what we need!
